Easily Collaborate On A Filing Project

SEC Publisher has group collaboration features built in to enable your filing staff to easily collaborate on the processing of a filing. Your filing team has access to powerful, easy-to-use capabilities for sharing documents, splitting documents, merging or inserting documents after and before they have been EDGARized.

A Simple Collaboration Workflow Example
Let us assume your EDGARizing team has four members: One Supervisor and three Operators.
- The Supervisor initiates collaboration and manages the document workflow.
- Each Operator receives the assigned documents, processes them, and returns/emails them back to the Supervisor.
- The Supervisor prepares the final EDGARized document.
Break Down of Each Step
Step 1. Supervisor Tasks: Assigning Work
This is what the Supervisor will do:
- Create a collaboration workflow using SEC Publisher on his/her machine.
- Split the document up in three parts.
- Assign these split documents to Operators.
- Distribute un-finished documents to Operators using Check-out function.
Step 2. Operators Tasks: EDGARizing
Each Operator will receive his/her assigned portion of the document. The Operator will:
- EDGARize documents into HTML and/or ASCII.
- Send the EDGARized document back to Supervisor.
Step 3. Supervisor Tasks: Prepare and File to SEC
Once the Operators have EDGARized the documents, the Supervisor will combine these into a single filing:
- Gather EDGARized documents from Operators using the Check-in function.
- Arrange the EDGARized documents in the correct order.
- File the final EDGARized HTML and/or ASCII.
